Here is my problem. Ive always wanted to play Ultima Online and have for maybe 2 weeks along time ago. i just recently found out about UOForever and i would really like to get into the classic UO style gameplay. UOForever seems perfect and alot of fun. Now my problem is. when i go to the downloads page and try to download the client, my download window shows the file size is 169Mbs, when the download link states its 920Mbs. so whenever i download it and try to install i get the error message that "an unexpected archive ended". not sure why its only showing 169Mbs, i even when to the extent of download the classic client from the UO website and would try to do the Razor patch, but the link just takes me to a page that says the file is unavailable. it's also unclear whether you need to patch the client if you use the classic client from the UO website first before you use the razor patch. So not sure where to go from here but i would really like to play some UOForever, thanks

I believe I am having the same issue. The website page says the file should be 940mgs but my download only ever says 169 mgs. Then when I unzip it, the file is said to be corrupt.
Edit: I have tried downloading on 4 different computers and all have the same issue. I will concede they are all in the same house and on the same router and isp. That is the only similarity.

I'm having the same problem.. I see the page says 940MB yet it is trying to download a 169MB .rar file.
I unrar it and am given a checksum error, and the unrar process aborts.
The New Player Guide page is also giving some MySQL errors.. maybe it's related?

So guys, the easiest way to do this (although I am sure there are alternatives) is to go to uo.com and download the "classic client". That download will be very small because once you install it, UO will want to then update itself. So, let it update itself. Once you have the classic client installed and it updated, install Razor or UOSteam (your choice, although I prefer UOSteam).

There's still going to be an issue with playing UOF with not being able to patch, right?
Because http://uoforever.com/files/UOF_Razor_Patch_2013.rar is giving me an ERROR 404

I don't know, the version of razor I provided is the latest. I am not sure what the patch does, i have never used it. Razor should still work without it. Try UOSteam if this is what is preventing you from playing.

Just FYI it looks like they fixed the download. I just downloaded again from the official UOF site and it says 941MB.
