Chest disappeared

Had one of the Halloween paragon chests in my house, not locked down so I could easily transfer regs, and it disappeared right after a world save... Is this normal? I have other items in the house that are not locked down and they didn't disappear. Pretty much lost both the chest and everything in it. Also, I've used detect hidden and there was no one else around.

Why would you lock down your reg chest? Secure it with "I wish to secure this". You can transfer stuff in and out of it just as easily as if it wasn't locked down.

Everything disappears when left on the floor. Sometimes it takes hours. If you sit things down in your house and you don't want them to go away you need to lock or secure the item.

Thanks for the advice.. It just seemed odd though that it happened directly, like .1 second, after a world save, and it had only been released about 20 minutes beforehand. I'll definitely be more careful from now on, though.

Yes it is common for items on ground anywhere to disappear after world save.
