Cancel spell casting

If I am mid way through casting a spell, is there a way I can cancel it?

eg:

Chasing someone and they hide.

I then cast my Reveal spell.

They start running as soon as I start casting. ( I want to cancel the spell and chase them down here.)

But i'm stuck in place until the spell is finished and I lose them.

Most ppl just equip newbie dagger or newbie candle

I have a razor macro to double click my newbied candle so I hit that macro to cancel out spells.
