To also confirm I believe you cannot cut them up, they are purely deco.

I've not tried it, but I've also heard you can't cut them up. The invasion I believe was back in the spring, and I've recently seen some of the other colored bolts for auction/sale, so figured it was time to do something with these, they make great deco in a house.
