Body decayed in about 2 minutes : w.t.f.

Hey.

So I was fishing with my fisher and my tamer on board. I go make a coffee, forget to stop my fishing macro, I spawn an osiredon with a deep sea ele. Both my char die. It's cool, totally my fault.

First, Osiredon doesn't even have the decency to give me a rare (thought it was 100%... but anyways, this is just to make the situation even more ridiculous).

Second, I rez, heal my pet, rez my fisher, grab her bow and arrows, and I kill the 2 mobs.

The SECOND I kill Osi, the body of my fisher disappears.

I had 10 ancient mibs. About 5 to 10 regular mibs. Numerous other items I use while fishing.

Bad luck maybe that I was carrying so much but when you're fishing... you need fishing material. The fisher's body decayed so fast Osiredon's corpse wasn't even decayed when it disappeared. And I killed it AFTER.

Fun thing (!), I could still see her bones, but when I dbl clicked on it, it said I couldn't do it now, I had to wait. I tried with other char, couldn't even clicked. Logged my tamer, relogged it, and bones had disappeared.

So... what up. Lost 500k. I won't die but it's pretty frustrating.

I was so frustrated I erase every mib coordinates I entered in UOAM and almost yelled FUCK YOU, BOAT out loud irl.

Ima take a little break from fishing -_-

rather unusual, yet still stranger things have happened.

Only thing I can suggest here is that you may have moved the boat, and glitched your client, therefore rendering you unable to see the corpse until re-syncing your client.

The smooth boat travel and UO boat system are generally flawed and it is recommended that, when sailing, you resync your client every time you stop the boat.

Boat didn't move :-/

There was a shitton of junk on it tho. Maybe to many items on the ground at the same spot?

In my experience items on the deck that are stacked on the same tile are especially vulnerable to disappearing from the client, yes.

But it is typically if the boat moves or is turned. I suppose maybe if you left the ship and then came back, that may also be the cause.

There is also the chance that code was added that makes corpses disintegrate faster on ships, and that we are simply waiting for the next ''osi'' style patch notes to find out about it.
