Boat Keys are bugged

I saw a "Blessed" boat key today. Boat keys have never been blessed in any iteration of UO. Why was this guy able to carry around a blessed boat key?

all boats now have blessed boat keys, all ship models are blessed as well. You are able to shoot down peoples boats if you purchase cannons and also a Galleon, three types of which can be found on the 'gold sink' vendor in west brit, between the guard tower and the bridge!

The reason for the blessed boat keys/models is that boats here can vary from cheap to SUPER expensive AND you should need to have boating experience in order to obtain them for free...

The entire boating system has been majorly revamped, with the addition of a player made grotto and other finely developed systems by staff.

Please keep an eye on the wiki, which is now being updated in a massive overhaul fashion!

That's really disappointing. Stealing a boat key is the classic "big score" for a thief. Being deprived that opportunity is a big let down for people that play thieves.

you should really play a bit before filing bug reports, please.

Wreckognize is right though. They have created a whole custom boat system. Stealing boats now actually requires you to gun down the vessel from your galleon. The new system is fair, but less fun imo.
