The battle-well is the well next to West Britain Bank, you can throw items like magic weapons/armor down the well; after a certain amount of items it will launch a Capture the Flag game.

The issue, however is that the well is currently not accepting items.

The battle well has been temporarily disabled by the devs due to some events (such as Capture the Flag) acting wonky during these most recent attacks. Expect a few more days down time on the well as the new server gets sorted out.
