Bank Box Wars

Not sure if this has been suggested yet, but I was inspired by Don Key's post about IDOC auctions.

Ever seen the show Storage Wars? Let's do the same thing with bank boxes and inventory packs.
I'm not sure what the deletion time frame is for inactive accounts, but let's take their bank boxes and character inventory packs, take a screenshot (without item labels) and auction it out to the highest bidder based on appearance.

Nice because people are really going too come back after their bank has been cleaned out. and need to start all over.

If their account is deleted they wouldn't have access to any of these items regardless. Maybe I'm missing your point, but this is just a fun way to keep some items in the game and another gold sink as the bidding gets higher for each box.

I still think this would be really fun for IDOCs and could potentially eat up a lot of gold. Unfortunately the people who camp IDOCs also camp the forums and don't seem to enjoy the idea.

so now that I have not played for a few months and come back to no house which is the norm if you don't log in to refresh but along with that now I have nothing in my bank box or my pack that is a sure fire way to kill a server.

Been said again but I will repeat: bad idea.

1. Accounts don't get deleted. There is a reason for this.

2. Keep dreaming if you think you would ever get a good bank box/idoc auction. You would not be able to outbid the rich few.

3. Stop asking for a handout of other people's stuff. Put some work in.

I don't see anyone asking for handouts.
The forum is called "Suggestions & Ideas" and that's exactly what this is. Since I didn't know that accounts don't go inactive, it seemed like something fun. Not sure what all the negativity is about.

The negativity is that these people only do IDOCs so they have nothing better to do than post negativity.

"Stop asking for a handout of other people's stuff"... That's pretty much what hunting IDOCs is.
