are there any low taming creatures worth training?

I'm completely new to taming and was wondering if there are creatures like the blue beetle ( 0 taming required) which are worth training?
Is the rideable Wolf (45 taming?) able to do dmg?

Anyone ever killed something with hellcats?

Or are those critters just roaming the landscape with the only purpose to be tamed, renamed and released?

young dragons are very effective (75 taming rquired)
hellcats are fun to use but they have a high taming rquirement (like young drags I think)
