Hey all, been playing since 98, I played on uoforever and Renaissance off and on since ~2004 but never here so Im giving it a spin. Seems to have some cool features but Ive never played anything later than mondains legacy era.

Regarding skill gain: does it slow down as your skill totals rise? Some servers have this enabled others dont and Im wondering do you do resist/taming first or does it matter?

On uoforever my main char was Ted Haggard, did a lot of IDOCing

Welcome! Skill gain is pretty fast here with the exception of taming. Never noticed whether it slows down as it rises. Resist isn't too bad to raise, and you can use skill scrolls if needed. Idocs have some unique features here, such as the house loot dropping on mobs, which is a newish thing that some people love and others hate. Timers might be different too.
