Amount of regs required for GM magery?

Does anyone have an estimate of how much regs it takes to GM magery from 50?

I was trying to test it and record all my reg usage doing:

50-58 Mana Drain
58-75 Invisibility
75-100 Mana Vampire

, however, some of the server's finest PvPers such as those of the LoL guild keep killing my char while afk.

Has anyone been able to successfully test this? I am macroing in dungeon and staying well fed / hydrated.
