Short answer: no
Source: i made a char with gm lockpicking and remove trap (and hiding and stealth) just for that purpose and stopped using it after 1 day. Too boring snd you make more money with a bard or tamer

Only the chests in khakdun Are really worth picking, and you'll find somebody else came before you most of the Times. They have about 2k gold and good weapons

One 10-15 minute run of Khaldun will net you about 20k in gold + magic gear (occasional vanqs), but then you need to wait for the chests to respawn which takes a while. It's decent if you play in bursts and clear it a few times a day.

Haven't done them. By the time I loot all the normal chests I'm over-encumbered and recall out.
