There's nothing making you go grey and die when people kill mobs, other than your own choices. There's mobs everywhere, tons of people farming. Disable Innocent Corpses prevents it from EVER happening. It's your own choice.- Phrygian

Open your paperdoll. Double Click the 6 sided star up at the top. Click the UO symbol on the right (second from top). Select "Disable Open Innocent Corpses" Looting other people's kills is an easily solved issue.- Phrygian

Old Player (97-2007) looking for that nostalgia hit.
I'd recommend the Classic UO client (CUO), with Razor or Razor Enhanced. Also, there is a featured client being worked on currently, which will be unique to UOF.- Phrygian

Is there any suggestion for a new player to get the meta pet?
You want a slayer bow for whatever you are farming. They cost around 3k. Farm balrons, titans, or even lich lords and ancient liches. Don't stay in 1 place, make a book with your farming spots.- Phrygian
