I have 0 detect hidden and GM remove trap. I have no problem using remove trap on lvl 5 dungeon chests. I think detect hidden is only required to be at 50 to train remove trap (along with 50 lock picking) . After I GM'd remove trap, I dropped detect hidden to 0.
I've had a lot of fun with this template recently, but am unsure what I should do with the rest of my skill points. Currently the skills I have are:
Lockpicking 100
Remove Trap 100
Hiding 100
Stealth 80
That leaves 320 skill points. I'd like to keep some magery so I can cast lower level spells...
I got it to around 50 from the Buc's Den Thief Guild Master, then I trained in the Brit Jeweler's Shop on the locked box to about 88.
From 88-GM I trained with a GM tinker trapping a box. I probably should have started with the GM tinker around 80.
I don't believe Detect Hidden is required...
All of the guides I see say to lock it at 10 while training, but does it actually help with lockpicking once the skill is GM'd? I'm making a dungeon chest picker and would rather use the points in STR and INT if possible. Thanks!
