I think the best alternative is to let me trade it. I'm sure there is some wealthy player that would love to try a defense talisman.
I'd love to swap mine out for the same lvl zerker talisman at this point.
I like the positive thinking, but I finished the character pretty recently.
Have only pk'd enough to be perma-red, not enough to make a lot of gold.
And I spent a ton of time grinding a slow talisman when I could have made more grinding a higher dmg talisman.
Maybe I'm just a pessimist though.
The change isn't terrible in and of itself.
What's bad is when so many people have grinded the defense talisman expecting it to work this way.
If we could trade/sell talismans, it wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem.
Now I have a lvl 8 defense tali'd perma-red character. I can't even pvm...
I'm guessing you've never used a talisman character or are just highly invested in your tamer.
Other than not having a summoning ball or something dumb like that, there is 0 penalty for making mistakes on a tamer other than an almost irrelevant skill loss ( I have a tamer so I know ) that isn't...
Then just implement a mechanics that makes it impossible to switch talismans without having a cooldown for switching them.
Like you can just put the last one you had on as soon as you res but if you switch it tells you that the next one isn't prepared yet.
Often the pets don't die because they are very tanky, and if only the tamer dies its no problem.
Consider the following:
Tamers need very little resources, so even if you can't get your body, no big deal.
Tamers can use provocation.
Tamers pets are stronger than talisman characters, and more...
When the cooldown is up can you take the talisman off when you might die and re-equip it?
I feel the same way about it.
To say that the pet skill loss is comparable is nuts, you can gain skills back so easily.
Idk how many times I've seen a tamer die at a spawn or rda 10-15 times and just...
depends on if they remove the bad wands or not.
either way, it should be changed so that a normal wand loadout ( 1 max light wand, 1 max heal ) costs about the same as your potion loadout.
with todays gold value I'd say that 2-3k for a max wand is the most they should go for. right now, if...
turn g-heal wands into mini-heal wands. Double the charges so people dont cry.
give a slight bump to how much they heal.
remove trash wands (feeble/clumsy/ma/harm)
increase drop rate.
let everyone use them.
Hey guys. I have 2 quick suggestions I've been thinking about for a while.
1. lower the talisman cooldown when you take it off, or remove the cooldown entirely.
A tamer with a good pet can endlessly die and res. When a talisman character dies at a boss, their talisman
is unusable for the...
recovers their stamina. When you run around on a factioner the mount loses stamina.
Steam allows you to feed it so efficiently that it's almost no different than using an ethy.
Is there anyway we can get mount feeding in sallos.
This is one of the things that has bothered me the most about steam.
Tons of players running around with swamp dragons and nightmares. They can write an easy macro that will feed there pet in the most efficient amount of time possible...
But pets can be transferred. Exactly how is that different?
Very few people have talismans max'd out for this reason.
It's just too much grind for some people.
Do you really expect them to make an account, grind characters up, get enough gold for 30 vanqs, and THEN start a character...
