Hey, welcome. There are runebooks and they're all blessed. The spellbooks you start with are blessed but I think the crafted slayer spellbooks aren't.
There are spots for small houses but if you want something bigger you'll probably have to buy. You'll need 1200 skill points on your account to...
50% chance for a 20 mil reward just for playing the game? That's insane. I would totally object to that on principle, but... since it's much better odds than possible with pvm and since I haven't dropped anything good in nearly two years of playing here, I'd probably do nothing but pvp on this...
If a 50% relic chance for the top 5 scorers at champs was also added, I might be down with your idea. :p Although I still don't think pvm rewards for pvp activities makes sense.
I'm not sure what "participating in pvp" would really consist of if it wasn't based on kills or teamwork. Just...
That may theoretically be possible, but it's a pretty slim chance. I've been doing altar crystals regularly since last summer and have never received a single thing. One month I did Hythloth every single day, usually turning in the most crystals -- and nothing. Pvmers get relics and other...
Haven't read this whole thread but as someone who put a gazillion hours and over 40 mil into my pvm meta stuff and still can't get a relic, the idea of handing them out to pvpers that spent two days making a pvp char is a whole bunch of hell no. If incentives are really needed, at least keep...
I killed 14 of the 109 mobs in my contract, but after seeing the so-called 'rewards' people are getting, I've already lost interest. :p I'd rather hold onto my statue collection in hopes that a better turn-in system will be implemented someday.
Yeah, whoever keeps killing all the great harts in hart park is kinda screwing all the higher level tamers. Used to be a great spot, now it's just full of deer corpses and stuff you can't gain on.
Great how? I haven't had mine long but so far it doesn't really seem worth leveling. I wish there was a refund system for relics, I'd trade in my phase shift, tread and infected wounds and use the money to make a rogue.
I still think it was a reasonable assumption given that the change was put on test. But hey I'm glad I could bring some schadenfreude cheer to the forums, it gets boring being right all the time. :p
Well, I was definitely raging. But I've never had an experience like that at Locke Cole until today, and I was using the same character and the same bandage macro I always use, which always healed through his attacks before. If eppy says nothing was changed I guess I'll have to believe him, but...
What this highlights to me is that people like you should have zero input on changes that broadly impact the playerbase and make people lose faith in the staff. And you have zero room to talk about a 'sky is falling' mentality when you are best known for complaining and finding fault with...
My bandages used to hit at 8 seconds on my dexxer. The bandage timer now goes to 9 and then there's about a second pause before it hits, so it's roughly ten seconds. I haven't changed anything on my template or stats, so something else has changed.
Both of you (Drasked and TrustyPatchez) are among the few who voted for this nerf, so of course you're going to think it's "fine" regardless of how it actually is.
So, it appears that despite 80% of the players disliking this bandage nerf, it went in anyway.
I just tried to do Locke Cole on my zerker, which I spent 29384729374 hours and 16+ mil getting to level 10 with maxed relics. Before the bandage nerf I could complete this RDA no problem. Now I die...
It makes sense because the idea for this change came from pvpers, is supported almost exclusively by pvpers (a few of them anyway), and, most importantly, is supposedly geared toward achieving pvp balance.
If pvpers don't want to accept the "penalty" of slow bandages in order to engage in UOF's...
We can in fact do precisely that. What the majority of players want should be taken into consideration at the very least.
Slower bandages are not what is fair or best. It's a bad change because it has sweeping effects far beyond what it's supposedly targeted at (that elusive "pvp balance")...
