This sounds cool in theory, but wouldn't the legendary tamers just plow through all the easy mobs in two seconds, thus competing with the newbies for spawn?
This seems like a reasonable solution. Please make the additional profiles able to hold different armor sets! I can't even put female barbed leather armor on my butler and pretty much all my characters are female.
I killed hundred of liches last month and got nothing but regular skill scrolls. Not even a cloth. The way the "luck" works here just does not seem random to me. It's very streaky. Some people get three relics in a day and others get zero in two years.
If this is true it confirms for me that it's not actually about how many crystals you turn in, but more likely some 'luck' setting on the character itself.
Yes please can we have this?? Leaving my cellar is annoying now that the leave house command has that stupid cooldown... I'd love to be able to run up the stairs.
It's kinda ridiculous that people have been selling leveled dragons for barely the cost of the egg and relics. And egg prices are going up, one of my guildies just got an offer of 3 mil for a baby snake and it's not even a special color.
I used to do champs constantly and was almost always in the top ten for score, usually top 5 until I switched to archery. Here's a representative sample of what I dropped in three days of champs, this pattern has been consistent over many months:
3/5/18 -- destard, 4th place, 16 qualifying, 105...
Not a taming ss in 8 months. I just farm all the mobs that can drop crystals, not sure which ones supposedly drop taming ss too. But yeah my "luck" is pretty uniformly terrible, this is why I no longer believe in RNG, after nearly two years playing here it just doesn't seem very random.
This is a useful guide for turning in crystals, much appreciation to Bobby for putting it together! But I'd like to comment on a few things that haven't been true in my experience.
The day this guide was posted, last year, I started turning in crystals at Hythloth every day for a month, just...
I'm honestly wondering if you've actually read the ads in question. For example, N's ad includes: "The N Guild is a very tight and friendly community where everybody helps each other! We encourage fair play." SMASH's ad states: "SMASH is now recruiting any mature players looking to compete in...
Yeah, I'm guessing it's a bit skewed toward people who were excited to report getting something good. I very much doubt that one person doing 28 contracts would get 5 rewards -- in the other thread Decoy reported doing 14 contracts and got nothing but gold.
Regardless of what the exact odds...
In my alliance we were keeping track of contracts/rewards and of those reporting, 23 people got the tiny gold rewards, one person got a level 7 tmap, one got a pixie, one got the domination flag, and two got bloody explosion relics. No one has reported turning in contracts for days now. Most...
I know you're not talking about Tribe. We prefer to stay small and only post ads in LFG once a week or so. I just don't think it's accurate to call it "spamming" when people post ads daily or every other day. That's just how Dis.cord works -- it's more of a real-time communication platform, not...
Yes, this is needed! With 120 tames now costing over 20 mil they're out of reach for many (if not most) players, and with pet skill loss the way it is, level 6 pets just get weaker over time which is a disincentive to using them. Plus you lose that feeling of achievement and building toward...
What "spamming" are you even talking about? All those guilds are posting their ads about once per day or every few days, which is perfectly reasonable and is simply how Dis.cord works. Nonexistent problem imo. Also, posting a regular ad and "mass recruiting" are not the same thing (i.e., not...
Welcome! I'd recommend checking out the wiki because there's some unique content on this shard: https://www.uoforum.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page. Also join Discord where you can chat with other players and ask questions. Sometimes people you run into in game will help too if they know you're...
It can be difficult to find times that suit players in different time zones, but it's really not that difficult. For example right now it's 10am on the west coast in North America, which is 1pm on the east coast, 7pm EU, 2am in Korea and 3am in Australia. So this (or slightly earlier) would be a...
They spawn in the spider cave after you kill a bunch of spiders. You need to attack the beetle for a while until its hit points get low, then you can tame it (doesn't require gm taming skill).
