I like the element of randomness, personally... guaranteed rewards wouldn't be as fun. But guaranteed no-reward is even less fun, and the drop rate we have now seems pretty close to that. Unless you're one of the 'lucky' few who can get two relics in an hour somehow.
I know the rebuttal is...
My berserker tali is only at level 3 and it's already worth it. Very fun when you start being able to one-shot stuff.
Getting relics to add to your talisman is definitely high-level though... they can cost up to 10 mil and rarely drop. I think it might be better to ignore the whole relic thing...
Overall though I'd say try not to go into dungeons alone with stuff you can't afford to lose, because there's a good chance you won't get it back and sometimes it's not even worth it to try.
Edere, I definitely get where you're coming from. There's been so much talk about people quitting because of PKs, but I don't think that's the real problem -- the problem is how difficult it is to recover from dying (whether to PKs or mobs) when you're new and have limited resources and don't...

And yes I realize that all the pleas for nerfing of enemies are masked as...
I thought the parrying idea wasn't totally terrible, but... the sad fact is that purple pots should be left alone, because if they're touched it will set off a great wailing and gnashing of teeth about bandages and mini heal etc, and if those get nerfed it will drive away PvMers who make up the...
Grim is a good guy and I hope he doesn't get in trouble for this. I feel partly responsible because we're buddies and he knows I inherited a house full of stuff from a quitting player, which probably influenced his thinking here.
The truth is that that windfall completely changed the game for...
