**Relapsed**

Been clean for nearly five years, thereabouts. Doesn't matter now.

I have completely relapsed into the world of Britannia. I think this will be my final time.

My Mission: Not much.

A small argument at work made me relapse. A talk somewhere of MMO prowess led to me wading in declaring that since none of them had ever heard of UO (which they had not), they were not as qualified as they think. They were effectively noobs. I stuck to this premise all the way, suffering flashbacks of how amazing UO was.

I'm a sucker for a shard that pays great attention to certain details. It really is the little things that count. UO Forever is clearly well-made and I am excited to finally fall upon it, belt unbuckled.

The needle has been shared, and several old buddies are roaming around, losing karma regularly.

---

I've been around, have some credentials, and look forward to being around in some form again.

I can't be arsed making a Tamer though. My senses tell me I wouldn't get enough sunlight.

As someone who is supposed to have retired long ago, my focus is not pursuit of wealth (kicked that in the balls finding a double strike relic) and concentrate instead on spicing things up.

I would also like to quickly mention that just about every shard I have ever played I have moaned and whinged repeatedly in the suggestion forum about not being able to pick fruit from trees (and other things, long-winded). I would just like to say: THANK YOU VERY MUCH for having the distinction of trees which yield fruit.

In the near future, I hope you won't mind if I begin squatting in the suggestion forums throwing out observations which disregard the time taken to code a change?

For now, I have to struggle with somehow fitting UO back into my life.

Brrrr!

I experienced a twelve year UO-free stint and this damn shard sucked me right back in. It enticed and beckoned to me like a secret lover. ("Are you on that god #&%@ game again..?!")

...hangs head in shame.

Welcome back home, friend.

I have to admit, now that I'm playing again there is a part of me which knew it all along...

I nearly relapsed a couple years back coming across some old razor death pics. That was some painful nostalgia, let me tell you!

After years of playing no-mounts, my character is saddle-sore and requires some ointment. I've begun to notice that I seem to suffer quite regular lag-spikes, and poor average latency which is turning out to be a convenient excuse for my rusty skills. I'm hoping it's temporary, but it pretty much leaves me just dossing around in the meantime.

Good old Stealth. Stealth and I can be happy here even if I remain too slow to compete with all that youthful galloping.
