I'm not sure , I have two. I believe it is a gift you can choose when you put two new player tickets together.

the enchanted variety drop off of glacial giants. don't seem to be too uncommon though

Only 5-10k. You don't see a lot of them though, I held onto mine. Instead of telling you coordinates it tells you the nearest town and moongate.
