how to get exp points for your boat?

Hi guys what is the best way besides sinking boat for 18 points (with exp upgrade) to gain experience for your boat??

For any Info i would be mighty obliged

Got a lot of cannonballs and don't want to run around placing ships and taking them from your bank?

Get a bonded pet, kill it, and shoot its ghost. That's 2-3 XP per shot. Full volleys will equal a whole ship sinking without the down time of going and picking it back up from a bank. Can double up and load one cannonball on the starboard to take turns shooting and scuttling ships, and then volley a battery into a bonded ghost. XP for days.

wow thx alot Dew!!! Cause thats exactly what i die LOL. I was constantly recalli0ng back and forth from the bank with a boot and sinking it lOL
