Is the new server and auto-patcher going to cut back on the save times. Also, this list gave me wood, alittle bit, seriously.
it's actually your own choice what client to use.. Sallos has come neat features when it comes to PVP (super nice targeting etc. etc.) but definitely lacks when used in PVM/Crafting. I guess that eventually they'll be re-working the client to make it useful in every aspect of UO.
they as in the Staff team on UOF. The original creator of Sallos is out of the UO business for all I know.

well.. Sallos has been around since 04 or 05 and the original creator was part of the ******** team. He hasn't been around UO for like 5 years now I guess..
Devs have been talking about having a client that they can customize specifically for UOF, so I imagine that's what they're doing with their version of Sallos. Also they shopped around for a client with open code and couldn't use Razor or UOSteam cause they are not open code, so yes, they are customizing just for us
There actually was a checkin 12 days ago with core functinality. Awesome. Previously it was not buildable as complete solution. Thanks bro! Wonder why community is still silent.
I suppose because compiling it is such a pain. I have messed with it for a bit and still can't get it to compile and run. It needs a good dose of code chopping imo.
I was able to compile it, but not run successfully. The code is actually not so great, a lot of hard coded paths.
