As someone who only plays a pvm character, how the heck do I survive against a pk tossing perfectly timed purple pots that hit me for for 20+ damage every 4 seconds while on the run? I've got all my survival macros setup, heal, pot chugging. Me throwing 10 damage purp pots back isn't doing anything useful, especially on a pvm character.

When I first started playing, many of the pks that I encountered didn't use purp pots, but now its like every pk uses them and with alchemy, so they hit really hard. therefore my chances of survival has gotten extremely low.

because of this, I never bothered to learn to pvp. fighting against hardcore veteran pvpers who can have so much damage output is a turnoff.

You want to play a Felucca server but don't want to bother with pvp? There's your problem right there. You have these things to protect yourself Armour, potions, magery, bandages, your own weapon and pets. This server heavily favors dexers so you better learn to fight them or run/recall. There's a few threads recently on how to defend yourself so Def check them out.

It's pretty hard to learn when you have 20+ damage pots hitting you every 4 seconds. For a vet pvper, yeah its probably nothing. but for someone who is new and learning, that can be a real turnoff. its a high learning curve. anyway, I don't have a problem with purple pots, because its necessary for pvpers to fight against runners. but a pk who uses it to chase pvmers is unfair.

just explo pots? no its either a mage with their spells(stun mage) or a dexxer with their weapon (often times dp or a heavy hitting LJ axe) combined with explo pots. You can only run far enough before the other damage hits you.

It's a deadly combination for a new pvper to fight off.

If you run good lines and use gheal pots and bandages nonstop it is hard for a solo guy to kill you.

Right. The longer you can run in a straight line the better. Tree hack helps immensely with this if you're in an overworld situation.

Maybe try farming with a friend and splitting loot after until you get used to fighting them off a bit. Takes time but you will slowly get better/used to the mechanics

run in a straight line, have gheal pots, do not fight back if the PK appears to be good, run into other blues etc.

Miniheal+bandies+gheal does wonders vs exp pots....

    No Magery? There's your problem.

On a pvm char (except tamer) you will die 90% of the time.
Best way to survive is recalling away.

If rambo meets a civil the civil will die.

Just keep making multiple cry threads till changes get made in your favor.

Ask @Streets or @jkg8787 for help.

Falling short of that, abuse a vpn for young accounts.

Keep my name out of your mouth troll.

You're honestly an imbecile. If you had any sort of reading comprehension you might have noticed that Streets and I are almost always on different sides of a debate. I'm usually for the side that prefers PvP he's more to the side of a PvMer.

So your little attempt to smear me as a newb who's afraid of PvP is completely unwarranted and laughably transparent.

    Shoo shoo little troll.

You and streets should pvm together over double xp weekend so i can date rape 2 barely legals in 1 dungeon run.

I'll help you on your next thread to:

"Pks are ruining the shard cuz i died"
"Does anyone else wet themself irl when they get pked?"
"Dexers are way too OP (vs my 0 wrestle naked reg only bard)"
"I cant throw exp pots so remove them"
"Is sitting down on the toilet to piss considered feminine for a 40 yr old man?"

As you get older, it gets more acceptable to sit down while you pee.

Smartest move is probably to recall as soon as you see the PK.
    Always have magic reflection up.

I'm pretty used to get ganked as a thief so my survival skills are probably over the average. ;)

You farm the area, so learn the paths. Example despise, line of site is your friend. As you run through practice your routes. Learn the corners and shortest paths. Pk in site, chug str pot and kick off heal. Now run your practiced paths to get away.
