Rather than fixing skill loss for pets, how about this. Lets make it so players lose 1% of skills on death, and then make player skill gain on par with pet skill gain. That way we can all suffer together!
I for one would love this. And moreover this I would love to see having a 1-2 character limit or something like that. Otherwise people would just make extra characters for everything they need rather than going to someone who has dedicated their character to being a blacksmith. It would...
Since I have been on this server there have always been PK/griefer zergs. There were a select few of you that ran solo but most ran in 3+ groups fighting solo trammies/tamers in dungeons. And then when someone would get upset they would be so quick to drop a "deal with it, it's UO" philosophy...
I haven't been PK'd by EQMS but that's likely because I am very selective with locations when farming.
In my opinion you can't get mad at a guild for using a numbers advantage if they have it. When you go out in the field on a PK do you purposefully underequip yourself to level the playing...
They made it -1% lost from all skills on here a while back, compared to the .1 point lost from all skills on traditional UO, so a pretty big hike up.
Honestly to the OP I gave up this fight and made a meta dexer a long time ago when I found out pretty much everyone here, including a good...
Only kind of? Especially if the means in which to recharge them is also made by scribes. There will still be a market though because they can be looted. Slayer weapons are unlimited use and people still buy them like crazy because the lose them to PKs.
Save your money and get resist and magery scrolls. Much more important IMO. Poisoning scrolls are still way too expensive for what benefit they give you on a meta pet.
If you are going to use a meta dragon, you absolutely need to keep this. It's the best of all of the relics IMO. If you decide to sell it though, don't go for less than 10 million.
I don't even know if it's possible, but maybe give us the option to see this? I know a few particular guilds would object heavily to this but I think it would benefit the server overall and help us monitor illegal multi-client situations that are still ongoing.
