There are no accusations of scamming and if it appeared that way then my bad. I help monitor the forums for the better of the entire community here. Having a friend/anyone increase a bid is one of those grey areas you can't really prove, but some things just ring a bell as being fishy, sometimes without wanting. 1) An account created on Apr 18, 2013 with only 13 messages, mentioning the person who helped you, who suddenly ups the bid by 1mil vs your minimum increments of 50k. Again, I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying it's fishy and I had to highlight it. Everyone may carry on with the auction!

It's alright, I get the point.. i should have made clear that poptart appears as a normal bidding person BEFOREHAND and not as someone who tries to increase the bids. I sincerely apologize to every potential buyer and all the people who messaged me on the forum or via disc. As i said before I wanted the auction to be as fair and transparent as possible, but obviously failed miserably.

Since i dont want to continue this auction and i dont want to profit from the sale of this beetle in any sort, i gave it to tahuk FOR FREE who was accouncing for quite a while now (whom i dont know by the way apart from buying/selling in disc). So if you're interested in buying an unusual beetle or are just curious who got it - shoot him a message.

I can totally confirm what mow says, Solid guy and feels like im dreaming lol. He really did not accept the money. Hard to see that happen in UO.

I kinda happy and sad at the same time for getting like this, but i wanted one dearly and i will take care of it for life!

Not for sale btw, i really always wanted to have this. But Mow and poptart helped by giving people a notion of the timer anyway.

I consider myself indebted to Mow and will try to do my best to stand for him in the fields if i can ever be of help!

Maybe tahuk knows sirlothar and they got together and hatched a plan like this:
Mow and pop tart tame a beetle, they send Shane an email to change its color, Shane does this because about 10 years ago he dated pop tart’s sisters roommate in college and always had a weak spot for her. And this is Shane’s last chance to win her back.( yeah it makes no sense but Shane’s got it bad for her)
anyways sirlothar was at the water cooler today taking to Shane and he is spilling his guts about this girl/beetle. And sirlothar knows tahuk and knows he’s wants a cool beetle and sirlothar owes tahuk big time, see in the late 80’s sirlothar, before he got himself clean had a big drinking problem. When he drank and got really drunk he would pee where ever, on buildings, on car, on the dance floor... it didn’t matter to him the world was his piss pot. However this one time he and tahuk were out the night before sirlothar’s wedding. Sirlothar pissed on the police chief dog, the chief was mad as hell but tahuk told the chief he did it so sirlothar could make his wedding. Tahuk spent the weekend in jail, but that’s another story. Anyways that’s why sirlothar wants the beetle for Tahuk... so they will be even.
Than they wait for mow to post his beetle tread. Pop tart adds a bid and the shit hits the fan.
In the end the beetle ends up with tuhuk, Sirlothar and tahuk are even, Shane never gets the girl, the police chiefs dog and mow are the only ones that get pissed on.

Or maybe perhaps two people get caught trying to be shitheads. Try to talk their way out of it playing it off as a misunderstanding when they were actually being shitheads. And instead in a last ditch effort to turn the tides and make somone else seem like a shithead they give the beetle away thinking it will make somone else look like a shithead and they bump fists like “yea we won” yet they are looking in a mirror and the shit is still on their head. Sorry I’m pessimistic.

This is just ridiculous at this point. Beetle is gone can this thred be removed please. @SirLothar
