Dungeon Chest Crawler

Is it a viable character and worth it to build? I want to build and go to dungeons without screwing with any mobs just collecting loots fron chests but i dont know if such chests exist.

I'm still pretty new to the server myself, but I have been working on a character like this. There are chests in dungeons and they're one means of getting Lockpicking from 95 to GM so some rune libraries will have a book just for it. You could do:

Hiding
Stealth
Lockpicking
Detect Hidden
Remove Trap
Magery
Meditation

From reading the forums, I think people tend to prefer a mixed build because the one above is pretty single faceted. Mine I dropped Detect and Remove Trap to pick up Music and a bard skill. I've found that it is easy enough to just use Telekinesis and hide again before mobs aggro onto me, but the bard skill gives me a little more utility.

It's not the most efficient money maker, but I have enjoyed it so far and have had a couple amusing adventures. Hope this helped, though I know your post is a bit older.

Thanks for the answer.

My lockpicking is stuck at 75 now. Can I use thosechests for building my skill from 75 too?

They vary in difficulty. Your best bet is to buy a set of chests. There is a vendor house East of Despise (after the first path through the mountains) that sells them for 5k I think. It has 3 chests in each set that will take you up to 95. That's how I did it anyway on two different characters. After 95 it's dungeon/paragon chests... or lock pick skill scrolls if you have the $$.

I looked but couldn't find, where exactly? After the first passage from britain, there is one house with vendors right next to the passage which goes to despise and it does not have such chests/

First vendor on the North-West corner of the house. Named Fishing/Tmaps. 5k for 3 box set. Description says it will take you to 94, but I've gotten to nearly 95 on it twice (95 and 94.7). After that the quickest way by far is to just dump the money into scrolls to get GM.

I made a dungeon crawler a few years ago but got bored really really fast. The gph is pretty bad and it's slow af.

I personally wouldn't recommend it.

I used to play dungeon stealther with rt and dh and all this other scout skills. I got bored very quickly. But listen to @Plexmormity
I dropped dh and tracking for Provo too. That was a good thing.
