HTRS Casino proudly presents to you a FREE entry to our new Blackjack Tournament (3-day event).
Free entry registration is to begin on Friday 5/4, 10 PM EST & Saturday 5/5, 10 PM EST.
Final table will be played on Sunday 5/6, 9 PM EST.
Winner of this Blackjack tournament will receive an Ethereal Boura rideable mount + gold prizes!
This event will be held at the Spring Festival, gates will be provided from West Britain Bank.

What is a Blackjack tournament you ask? When you play in a blackjack tournament, you are competing against other players rather than the dealer. You and your opponents start with the same bankroll and play 8 hands. The top player with the most chips at the end of the round (after 8 hands) wins and advances to play other table winners.
You don’t need to “win” a lot of chips to advance/win in a tournament. For example, suppose you have a starting bankroll of 5,000 chips and end up with only 500 chips at the end of 8 hands. If that is more than your fellow opponents, you will advance/win. Therefore, in tournament play you not only have to play your cards against a dealer’s up-card but you have to keep an eye on your opponents’ bankroll so you know if you are ahead or behind in chip count as the round progresses.
The following table compares what you already know – playing blackjack – to what you might not know – playing blackjack in a tournament.

How much does entry cost? It’s completely free, brought to you by HTRS Casino.
How do I participate? Simply show up at the Spring Festival on Friday 5/4 & Saturday 5/5 at 10PM EST, the first 18 players will be randomly selected so be sure you’re early if you’d like to participate. (Free entry)
How will the game be played out? On Friday 5/4/18 , 10 PM EST & Saturday 5/5/18, 10 PM EST, 18 lucky players will be separated to 3 groups, 6 players per group, the first group will play 8 hands of blackjack, the top player with the most chips at the end of 8 hands will be the winner of that group. The winner of each group will receive 100k gold prize and advance to the Final table on Sunday 5/6/18, 9 PM EST for a chance to win the Ethy Boura mount.
How long will this event take? We anticipate that it will take approx. 30 min per table/ group to playout 8 hands.
How do I lose? A player loses when he/she runs out of chips.
What if I can’t make the event Sunday? We ask that if you know you can’t make it for Sunday’s final table (if you happen to know in advance), please inform a HTRS member.
Is this hosted by UOF GMs? No, this is a player ran event with the assistance of the GMs, we ask that players refrain from trolling/ grieving and being toxic during the event.
If I participated and lost on Friday, can I rejoin the next day? No, we’re trying to give everyone a chance to have some fun and win some free prizes. However, there will be many more similar events held at the HTRS Casino in the future.
We ask that players who wants to participate to read this post entirely, this will speed up the tournament and create a better experience for the rest of the players.
