It's been a long time since me and Toro were allies. Although it has been a long time, he is someone that I will never forget for the rest of my life. I was sad and still am sad to have heard about his passing recently.

Toro - Although you are gone, you will never be forgotten.. thank you for coming to all the champ spawns that I popped in the past, when we were allies <3

Razor - sorry again for your loss :(

Rest in peace Toro <3

@Staff - That was a nice thing to do in game, with adding that statue.

clmp :( another fallen , amazing uof player ... gone, but never forgotten <3

One of the last times I talked to him, was when there were issues within the alliance. CLMP messaged me asking me how we can both help fix the issue ... he was an amazing person, that cared about his friends and allies

Toro was a true Southern gentleman -- until you pissed him off..lol. I used to tease him about his accent. He would come into voice chat with us often. And even after he left the alliance to join EQMS because he was tired of being killed, he always PM'd me just to stay in touch. He never attacked anyone in Trin or the alliance. I will miss him very much. Fly high my friend.

you and cinni were my best buds

Sad to hear the news. I was never allied with El Toro in a blue guild or any pvm stuf but not only did I get to interact with him some from messing around as an orc at his lich spawn house the past couple of lich MOTMs, my crafter was also his next door neighbor in Ocllo since sometime around late 2013. I had had several talks with him and he was a very nice guy and he almost single handedly kept my recall vendor afloat for several years, both him and his son seemed like really solid guys and El Toros passing is certainly a loss to our UOF community, my condolences to his friends and family.

curious...anyone know what happened to him IRL?

i remember seeing him run around when i was briefly in eqms

He was unfortunately diagnosed with esophageal cancer 3 weeks prior to passing away :( It was a quick, tough fight that he had.

This thread makes me sad AF ... I just miss 'em.... gone but never forgotten :(

Its sad playing a game, without those who you were friends & family with for so long :( One of the people on the below - Hellsfury - was my cousin who I played UO with for years. He passed away from lymphoma (another type of cancer) a while back.

great times, from first combating 247 guild year 1 north of yew moongate where eric had the nice customized house somebody had built

we soon left for vesper which currently we live today, I had replaced his keep he dearly loved and will forever stay there, even If I dont play, that keep will be refreshed! The worst part of it was, we stayed in contact via text, calling, fb and all of thee above.... its damaging to the friends and family when one takes it upon themselves to eliminate a bad habit,.... but with drinking for so long, your liver depends on it..... and God bless his soul and family because he was JUST trying to do the right thing, get his life 100% fully on track, Eric was a made man outside of UO guys........ so dont think we are invul to what may happen to others.

you meet great people on this game, if you ACTUALLY sit and talk to them..... you know just like in real life guys, if we went off of EVERYTHING we heard..... we probably wouldnt even approach that individual or much less think anything good about him

these are the reasons why me and a few still play here, established 12/17/12

5 more years, more friends, more enemies, more good times for ALL of us
