T-Hunt/Tamer Build Question

My skills are :

GM
Tame
Lore
Vet
Mage
Med
Cart
Lock

What to do with the extra 20 points that I will gain from SS?

I would like to own a meta pet, but I don't see how.....as I thought you needed 120 lore and 120 taming. IS this correct? If so what would you ppl do with the extra 20 points?

IS 120 tame worth it in this situation? Why?

**I'm not looking to run two clients at the same time. This is my only PvM. I would like meta but I'm cool with just t-hunting with a simple drag**

It would be worth it to go at least 110 tame/lore. The level 6 pet is a better tank and dps then a regular dragon, especially if you want to save for relics as well. I would however suggest pushing for 120 tame/lore if you can and dropping meditation to 80. You won't need GM med with vet since magery will not be your primary source of damage

Interesting point! THen I can have a meta pets!

This is what i plan on doing to my thunter.

100 Mage
100 Med
100 Vet
120 Tame
120 Lore
100 LP
80 Cartography

With 80 Cartography you can decode 5 and 6 maps. You'll fail a few times, but its doable.

I dont think ive ever seen a Thunter Tamer ...tamers need provo..you get 2 other accounts with char slots id use one of those to make your Thunter

At the moment you can decode level 6 maps with 70 carto, but the tmap changes coming with the new expansion may require a higher level, not certain on that though, i would play it safe and run with 80 med if you already have 100 carto, it's a pain to macro, cause scrolls are heavy lol

dont have that build but i would def drop med instead of carto. i run 80 med on my tamer/provo with 115 taming and lore, and never have an issue

That build is fine if you want to drop med to 80 for 120 taming and lore.

Just for reference I have a tamer with - taming / lore / vet / mage / music / peace / provo

My treasure hunter - Cart / Lock-picking / music / provo / discord / mage / peace

Your template is fine if you want to use your tamer as a thunter too, if I was you though I would drop the med for something more beneficial, probably looking at your template I would drop med for resist or hiding.

Thunter should be straight utility that unlocks and hides while you have your other toons loot and kill

My THunter is also my fisher for maximum utility. I bring my 2nd toon, which is a tamer, along for the rides for both fishing and treasure chests.

Id strongly recommend running 2 clients and alt tabbing back n forth.

I was thinking about doing this but I decided to go with discordance

So, is the consensus 70 carto, or 100? Just wondering, because I'm in the process of making a T-Hunter. Just have LP, Carto and Magery to Gm still.
