Just make it so if you lose your head you lose the character for the allocated time(I mean stat loss by lose of course) Would prevent people(not just eqms in this occasion) from consistently coming back on the same character. Remove the immunities that prevent statloss(other than obtaining your own head and trashing it, and purchasing from the player that took it.) Leave the ransom system in so they have atleast a slight chance of getting their head back.

I honestly see T2A rules as being superior here. You can cut down 1 EQMS even in a zerg if enough people are there, and it's not unheard of, of a 'certain rogue' *cough, cough* to cut the head of, and sneak away with a red's head to stat them.

That's 1 less for the zerg unless they want to continue as a weakened character, and stat loss would stack; 20% each time. Unless they stopped PvP'ing to re-raise the skills and stats they would soon be a NPC level character.

This would be very effective in curbing run away red numbers.

Yes, instead of removing them from the game for 48 hours - similar to the current system - penalize them so they can macro for 4-6 hours and be back.

i loved the bounty system on uof but when there are 15 reds guarding a downed red gl getting their head to even stat them.

even perma stat on uof would be a joke to anyone that played pre trammel osi as skills are maxed at a blazing pace here.
Three account and a 35k buy out of stat make pking next to no risk.

It was great back when i played uof i could stat reds making gold from it and not really ruin pvp at all.
most pker where red to be perma flagged for pvp. now it seems pking is more a griefing thing then a flagging issue

always funny seeing the reds cry about others being trammy did we play the same game? back in 99?

If 20% is to little to effect the character because of fast skill gains we could always up it to 40% :rolleyes:

i just wanna make it clear im not an avocate for perma stat loss im just pointing out issues that need to be considerd in whatever changes are made.

PKs are a verry important part of UO and its ashame that with lax pk penalties people are playing the game as it was when one death ment about a month of macroing time while you slept. there is no reason to run in packs as large as is currently happening on UOF

It's the auto targeting macros of Ebolt rails combined with a ***** play style... The same idiots complained when 1 POWER red kills 4 idiotic tamer/DEXER hunting party. Trammel will resolve all.

I haven't been very active in the last few months, I'd just laugh when I got 15 man Ebolt zerged and logged off. I wouldn't even bother playing with statloss.

there is an easy solution to this problem, just follow messremb offer (he will pay your 200k) and join eqms you will never get ganked again
