I have a pvp dexxer im building. Its going to be a Alch Nox Dexxer
  • GM Fence
  • GM Anatomy
  • GM Healing
  • GM Resist
  • GM Tactics
  • GM Poisoning
  • 80 Alchemy
  • 40 Magery
My question is, what PS can I eat to get me the +20 bonus in the easiest/cheapest way?

So far alchemy, healing, poisoning, and resist are the only ones GM.

I would do

70 poisoning
70 alchemy
80 magery

I don't think you can reflect a single exp with only 40 magery, and you don't get any real utility out of it that low.

Use peace pss to get 720 cap.

Ill be using reflect scrolls most likely , which does reflect so im told. 70 poisoning is a no go as thats the primary damage dealer.

I ran 60 magery on mine and only reflected a single exp. And I had to use scrolls.

Poisoning will not be your main damage, you will be lucky to ever get a single tic of damage on an enemy. And lowering the skill only affects your chance to apply. You would have 34% at 70 skill and 40% at gm.

Alchemy will do significantly more damage and be consistent.

But do what you want.

Peace is the cheapest but you will be looking for the 120 for a long time. Tailoring is only like 400k for the PS but 10k+ for the SSs.

For 720 cap i recommend doing tailoring. Takes no time going into GM and Power Scrolls are 200k for all (105-120) if you're lucky to find them. At least thats what I've been doing to raise my skillcap. Just macro in dungeon and you will be good after few hours. I would recommend giving the 20skill from 720 cap into Magery. I've ran many templates like that only focusing on basic defensive spells such a "Magic Reflect/Recall/Bless". With Magic Reflect scrolls you're able to do those and you can give 20 points into Alchemy to complete it to GM for the damage and utility usage of them.

So the initial build would look like this:

- Gm Fencing
- Gm Tactics
- Gm Anatomy
- Gm Healing
- GM Poisoning
- GM Alchemy
- GM Resisting
- 20 Magery.

Carry around 3 Magic reflect scrolls and some recall scrolls and you're set for PvP'ing with one of the best templates for solo fighting. I would definitely value this build with DP kryss and alchemy vs straight alchy stun mage. With the fast ticks on bandages on high dex and alchemy healpot bonuses you can easily out heal the enemy and kite them all day.

Hope it works well for you.

Sidenote: If you decide to PK with that char you should consider swapping Poisoning with Hiding. I've been poisoning my weapon on another character and Hiding is a great tool for making the monsters stop aggroing you and you have more time to str/dex up before going on people again which are taking the aggro you left.

Thanks Peav. Yeah I started tailoring, so great minds think alike. Should be GM by today, hopefully 120 by sunday.

The reason im doing full GM Poisoning though is the application rate from when you swing your sword is 40% versus 20%..that extra chance to hit and poison is huge

Trying to find a 105 peace is like impossible, and thats like 3 useless skills...if you not gonna gm poison, just use poisoned weapons (or better, maces and fuck the poison) and with magery 40 gives you a TON of utility, dont listen to this fool. Can cast low level spells, and use scrolls. Honestly mage, inscription, and macing with a warhammer is good you can own mages and dexxers. Alchemy ok, but honestly you should be a lj/alch or a macer/alch with like magery or inscription as last skill if you that set on a small increase to your purple pots.....most of the people here dont know how to pvp, and alchy dexxers are easiest to kill especially with these crap uoforever builds. Lol at trying to worry about the 120 cap for a pvp char you havent even made, maybe getting a little ahead of yourself? Gm poison is really over rated here, it is pretty easy to cure with pots and most people bring TONS of oranges...i find many don't bring hardly any red. Just try a warhammer.

Macing
Resist
Anatomy
Healing
Tactics
Magery
Alchemy/inscription

Swords
Lumberjacking
Resist
Anatomy
Healing
Tactics
Alchemy

this is nice you can even chop some wood when you get zerged by 80 eqms, tba, or werkt. But watch out, those POWER people like to dry loot naked woodcutters and other challenging foes.

lol who are you?

you clearly dont understand how those skills work. the only utility spell that is effective with 40 magery is mini heal and reflect with a scroll. you need a scroll to cast reflect. Poisoning and alchy are scaling skills, having them GM is not a requirement. with 70 in each you will get 18-24ish damge exp pots and 34% poison chance, and you can reapply poison in the field. 80 magery gives you Gheal, invis, para, reflect, and more. if you are looking for a uoforever build something close to what i posted is pretty much standard.

LOL at calling the alchy bonus a small increase, at GM it almost triples the damage. you do more damage with pots than you will do with any weapon in PVP.

i do agree with you on poison, thats why i got rid of my nox/alchy dexer, the poisoning skill just doesn't give enough of a bonus to be worth the skill points. it is useful on PKs though as most PVM players don't carry cure pots and the poison can fuck them up.

as far as the builds you recommend

i think the Inscribe macer is underwhelming, you might get a lucky kill on a mage the first time you fight them but after that they will just break your reflect first thing. it is a better team fighter build than most dexers, but mages always trump dexers in team fighting.

Alchy macer is one of, if not the most OP 1v1 field template. it has utility and is hard to kill due to the magery, consistent damage with the pots, and excellent burst with war hammer hits. there are no real cons to this build, other than it being a dexer.

alchy LJ is the DPS sustain\mage bane build, it is a bit of a glass cannon though. without magery you have no reflect, or heals, but LJ has the most consistent high damage hits and Pots to top it off. but you are pretty reliant on getting a concussion blow off against mages. if they get a stun and have the mana you are probably done. but its a great PK build cause you wont have to worry about stun much.

the OPs build is a duel pit OP, one handed weapons are just not as viable in the field, as any pvper who knows what they are doing wont stand still long enough for you to make the faster hits matter. but if you are looking for a 7x duel pit build nox\alchy dexer is pretty OP, but i would recommend swords over fencing, Kat is the best one handed weapon in the game by a mile, and using an axe, even without LJ, lets you get those concussion blows that make mages wanna cry.

anyways, diversity in the field makes for more fun, try out all the builds and keep what you like, the only skill that is difficult to GM is poisoning so do it last, that way if you like it you just keep it.

Actually my build is intended for field solo pking

GM Poisoning gives me 40% chance on swing to DP. 80 alchemy gives me still a good hit range for pots. I carry a handful of regs, pots, and reflect/hiding scrolls and I'm solid. I'll hit 115 tailoring and start finalizing my build.
