So there's some pretty cool people on this server who've even gone to the lengths to private message me and offer me help on things like dexxer tali, whether it be info/tips or even a few vanqs to help get it rolling. Being a working father, I haven't been able to meet up with these kind people, but I still appreciated their tips and kind words.

So far, I'm a few weeks in, and my buddy and I (another RL person with RL responsibilities, so hard to set up play times) managed to scout out a log cabin spot and place it, and macro/farm up a decent collection of pve/potential pvp chars. So, by UO terms things are progressing nicely on that front.

And here's where the wheels come off and I end up frustrated. People give me tips on what to do for relics (I'm grinding evil mobs atm for quest but getting there!), so I start doing things like Arch Demon.

Kinda fun trying to get the timing down... keeping a guy there to get a chance at relic while farming with my dexxer to work on tali quest. Problem is the last day or two EQMS and others roll through and kill everyone. So now that's two events I can never do to for relics, at least not without dying horribly over and over (RDA & now arch demon). That's a lot of the custom content I can't access because guilds have this crap on lockdown, so I can either buy relics from them at absurd prices or the custom content I came here to play is forever inaccessible to me.

But here's the real reason I posted all this, instead of just brushing it off... I saw some of these guys with tags like "Good Nggr Buddies". So, after a long day of working and being a dad and life in general, I get cut out of a huge chunk of the custom content and progression by a bunch of kids who think they're clever with their blatant racist BS.

Great server you guys have here. Tell me more of ways that noobs can progress through the custom content, instead of being rolled by huge red guilds displaying open racism.

Oh and easily 200 OLs killed so far. been farming them hoping for relics but guessing I'm playing the long odds there.

Still gonna work on those but don't blow smoke up my butt... I can't farm OLs anywhere NEAR as efficiently as provo/archer as a tamer can, and tamers kill the vast majority of the OLs around. Meaning I'm a looooong way off from having decent odds chances at a relic besides buying them from people. which is lame. super lame.

but yeah the kiddies who put racist stuff in their tags or whatever are just teenagers, so don't let it bother you. It's not like the staff can filter every single combination of the letters N G and R bro.

Also, if you're a working father, then it's best to join a bigger guild of people who do the arch deamon too. that way they can help u out by saying when the timer is.

maybe i'm just too old for these hardcore pvp servers. i don't have the time to be competitive anymore and the permitted racism is all the more intolerable to me after seeing how damaging it is in real life.

i can forgive the rest but the blatant racism should be flat-out IP-banned at this point. It's not the kind of thing that should be eye-rolled away as not a big deal. It's not harmless, it IS a big deal, and it's inexcusable.

it's not permitted. just page a staffmember, they'll fix it. Like i said they can't prevent it or be expected to be everywhere at all times. Who said racism was permitted?

Relic's are not some item that are just handed out. UO isn't an easy game. That's why half the people here are hardcore as fuck. I would say, if you want a chance at a relic through RDA/Archy join a guild. You can't honestly expect to be running around dungeons and not get PKed regardless of your "playtime/characters age". Be thankful you haven't met 'a fluffy bunny'. He griefs noobs more then anyone on this shard.

Your best bet is to do what your doing farming MOTM or like I said, join a guild that already has some kind of structure. I'm a dad as well, I know your pain when it come's to play time. Personally I farmed up the 200k and joined EQMS because I have a RL friend who played with them. As far as I know POWER/$/Werkt don't have sign up fee's. Although I think POWER is just here to PVP, I'm not sure if they do much RDA/PVM stuff.

The racist shit, can't help ya there man. Just something you should ignore.

I've kept my eye on you since you joined the forums.
Every post you make is honestly just a complaint about something you aren't comfortable with on UOF.
At this point i can't tell if you're trolling and just trying to stir up some topics that result in locked threads or what.

Instead of making a public spectacle of your personal issues on the general boards, please page in game about offensive names or any other issues you may have, in which case, things like racism and racist tags or names get handled rather quickly.

Also there's more places to PvM on UOF than ANY.OTHER.SERVER.... Honestly we have placed so many special spawns it's not even funny. There's zero reason to constantly get pk'd over/over unless of course you keep going back to that same spot, at the same time each day over and over...
You come off as a veteran player so i'm assuming you know how to avoid pkers.
